The Las Vegas Romance Writers is the southern Nevada chapter of Romance Writers of America®, a worldwide non-profit professional organization of over 9000 published and unpublished writers. The group’s purpose is to promote excellence in the romance genre, to provide support for writers within the romance publishing industry, and to help writers become published and establish careers in their writing field.
We offer educational programs, workshops to enhance writing skills, an informative monthly newsletter, and opportunities for networking.
MEETING INFORMATION:
Please be aware that our venue has changed to The Downtown Project:
117 S. 7th Street across from the El Cortez between Carson and Fremont. It looks like a group of construction trailers, but the interior is nice. There is parking available at the El Cortez and metered parking on 7th in front of the location.
The chapter meeting begins at 10:00 am and includes any chapter issues or business. The program generally runs from 10:30 am to 12 pm. (Time is subject to change. Please check back for updates.)
